Main Compartment
Unzip the main compartment and you’ll see why 4 liters hits the sweet spot for a ton of creators. It opens wide enough to see everything at a glance without turning the sling into a suitcase.
Against the back wall there’s a slide pocket that hugs the body side. That’s your spot for a phone, small Kindle, field notebook, or anything you want flat, protected, and easy to grab. If you’re moving fast — bike commute, airport sprint — parking your phone here cuts down on bounce and keeps it from printing awkwardly through the fabric.
This is a great spot to just clip your keys to the built-in key clip, and forget about them late. I like to dock the fob, then tuck it into one of the interior mesh sleeves so it doesn’t jingle when I’m filming or needing to move quietly on a set.
Along the interior you’ll find stretch mesh pocketing that hold extra batteries, AirPods, a cable pouch, or a compact film canister — but can remain pretty flexible when your loadout changes. The mesh is intentionally see-through so the small black things (looking at you, SD cards) don’t get lost.
Up front, inside the same cavity, are padded slide pockets. You can easily store sunglasses without a hard case, a point-and-shoot, a tiny mic, or an external SSD here. The padding keeps edges from knocking around when you set the bag down, which is crucial when I don't have extra padding or pouches on hand.
