To be perfectly honest, I’m often skeptical of products that claim to be able to “do it all.” From personal experience, I’ve found that the products that try to do anything end up failing at nearly everything. Without a clear vision, how can a product succeed in any one area?
I say this to give context for the rest of the article, because I’m very happy to report that Moment has proven my skepticism wrong. They have completely exceeded my expectations with their Everything line, and I think that all boils down to one key factor; the intentionality of their design language. And that’s what I’m most excited to talk about today.

The New Stuff
Before we discuss the beauty of the Everything line as a whole, we have to address the new kids on the block: the 2L and 4L slings. These things are RAD.
I was immediately struck by the quality of these slings the moment I pulled them out of the box. The hand feel of the micro-ripstop fabric, the YKK zippers, the interior lining and padding, and the metal buckles throughout all feel very premium. The padded main compartment of the 4L sling has the same sturdiness as the dividers we often use in camera backpacks and camera cubes.
Speaking of, I was thrilled to discover that my current favorite digital camera, the Sony A7CII, could easily fit into the main compartment of the 4L. I paired it with my Sony GM 50mm 1.4 on the body and still had room to spare to bring my Sony G 20mm 1.8. This has quickly become my favorite way to carry my camera kit cross-body, especially because I can still squeeze in a VND and some wireless mics and have everything I need to make videos on the go. And if I’m not carrying a camera, I can just detach that internal divider, throw in my Switch, a book, a pair of headphones, and enjoy the afternoon at a coffee shop.
The 2L is no slouch, either. While I personally like to carry a slightly larger sling, this option would be excellent for smaller camera setups or as a simple, elegant solution to carrying your phone, keys, wallet, and other EDC essentials.
As you might have guessed, the real winner for me is the 4L sling. The Everything line really needed a sling in the lineup, and I think the size, form factor, user experience, and versatility of the 4L is just fantastic. In my opinion, it’s a perfect encapsulation of what makes the Everything line so great.
Everything Sling 4L - Black
$99
Meet the Everything 4L Sling: your do-it-all companion for travel, work, and capturing moments. Wear it on either shoulder — no adjustments needed — or switch between front and back. Expand it to fit more or compress it for a sleek look. A removable padded divider quickly transforms it from everyday carry to camera bag, and a molded divider keeps gaming devices safe. Crafted from high-density micro ripstop nylon with YKK reverse coil zippers, it’s built for the most rugged trips and rainiest days. The only sling you’ll ever need.
Everything Sling 2L - Olive
$70
Our best-selling 2L sling is tailored to be the go-to bag for coffee runs, city strolls, and weekend adventures. Walk out the door and easily slide your phone into its own dedicated zipper pocket; no more digging when it rings loudly in the grocery store. Your wallet and keys have their own spots in the front pocket, and there's still room for your 35mm camera in the larger compartment for spur-of-the-moment sunset shots.
On a chilly morning, you expand the sling up to 4 inches to tuck in a windbreaker and adjust its seatbelt-soft webbing to glide smoothly over your shoulder. Whether you're tall, small, or somewhere in between — the newly upgraded seven-point adjustments make the sling fit snugly against your torso and waist, so it stays put while walking or dancing if you're at a music festival.
No sun, no problem; the recycled material with its double waterproof coating easily shrugs off the rain. Open up the front anti-scratch pocket, and you’ll find a removable padded divider, great for keeping your mobile lenses or sunglasses safe from scratches.

Mix & Match
Now that we’ve chatted about the slings, let’s zoom out and look at the Everything line as a whole. In my opinion, one of the biggest strengths of this system is the modular capability between each individual backpack, camera cube, sling, and pouch. Not only does this save us time, but it also saves us money and reduces decision fatigue. I think a lot of us can relate to the seemingly never-ending cycle of buying and testing all sorts of bags, cases, rollers, slings, and totes for our camera gear. It can be exhausting to explore those options, and there’s often a lot of clutter associated with it, too.
The beauty of the Everything line is its simplicity. There are enough options to accommodate all types of creators, but not so many options that the decision becomes overwhelming. If you prefer using totes, you can pick up the Everything tote, add a small camera cube, and now you can easily carry your camera kit. And when you want a tote to go get groceries with, you can just take the camera insert out! Or maybe you like smaller backpacks but still want to protect your drone when you’re exploring on the weekends; the 21L backpack with the 4L camera insert is perfect for you. Or maybe you love using small cameras and don’t need a big bag to lug around. The 4L sling will provide your camera with plenty of protection when needed, and you can remove the padded divider when you don’t. Whatever your specific needs are, there is something in the Everything line that will meet them. And you can rest assured that whatever you choose has been carefully considered.
My personal favorite setup is the 28L Weekender with the 8L camera insert and the 4L sling in the main compartment. The Weekender's clamshell opening makes everything super easy to access. The camera cube can hold most of my gear, and the sling can function as its own standalone, wearable camera insert because of its padding. This setup essentially gives me a home base to work out of and a sling to move around with while I’m on a shoot.

Everything Camera Insert - 4L
$60
Turn any backpack into a camera bag. Designed to fit perfectly inside our MTW / Everything Backpacks and Totes, the Camera Insert is a perfect way to carry your essential camera kit. It also works inside most other daypacks if you want some extra protection for your camera gear. With a large side access zip and interchangeable dividers, you can set it up however you like. Carry up to a Canon 5D (no battery grip) sized camera with a 70-200mm lens and room for extras. The opening can also be left open and tucked out of the way for super quick access, especially with backpacks that have side zipper access. Unlike other large, bulky camera ICUs, this one is just big enough to carry your essential camera kit and leave room for other gear in your bag.

Closing Thoughts
As I mentioned earlier, the thing I’m most impressed by in the Everything line is the design language behind it. A consistent intentionality can be seen in every one of these products, which is why it succeeds so well. The versatility of each individual piece, combined with the modularity of the whole line, makes everything a real joy to use. The 2L and 4L slings are a welcome addition to the team, and I can’t wait to see how the Everything brand continues to evolve. I fully expect to have my skepticism proved wrong yet again when it does.
