What You’ll Need

Before we dive in, here’s a quick checklist to get started:

What’s in the Box?

When you open your 58mm Tele Lens package, you’ll find:

  • The 58mm Tele Lens
  • A front and rear lens cap
  • A microfiber-lined lens pouch
  • A quick start guide

All packed in that classic, clean Moment style.

Step-by-Step Setup

Attaching the lens is easy:

  1. Take your Moment case and align the bayonet mount on the lens with the camera cutout.
  2. Rotate the lens clockwise until it clicks and locks into place.
  3. You’ll know it’s aligned when the Moment logo sits on the right side of your device.

⚠️ Don’t overtighten. Once it locks in with a gentle stop, you're good to go. Forcing it past this point could cause damage.

On the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the lens is best used with:

  • The 1x main camera (middle lens)
  • Or the 5x or 10x telephoto cameras (lower lenses)
Align, twist and voila.

Using the Lens

The 58mm Tele Lens works great with your built-in Android camera app, but there are a few tips to get the best image quality:

Quick Snap Option:

Use your camera’s default mode — perfect for social posts or everyday snapshots.

Pro Mode for Advanced Users:

Want printable or wallpaper-worthy shots? Go into Pro Mode and enable RAW format for maximum editing flexibility.

How to Enable RAW on Samsung:

  1. Open the camera app and tap the gear icon (top left).
  2. Under Advanced Picture Options, turn on High Efficiency Pictures to save space.
  3. Choose your preferred Pro Mode format: I recommend RAW + JPEG.
Note: Not all Android devices support RAW. Check with your phone manufacturer.

Set Your Resolution:

Bump up to 50 megapixels for the highest detail in RAW mode.

Adjust Your Aspect Ratio:

Use the 3:4 ratio to get the full width and detail your phone’s sensor can provide.

Editing on Mobile

After capturing your shot, I recommend editing in Snapseed, a free mobile app. It lets you:

  • Edit RAW files
  • Adjust white balance and exposure
  • Add effects, all from your phone

Check out the video linked at the top of the page for quick visuals on how I edit.
