The 75mm feels more like a traditional macro lens. Your working distance stretches to around three or four inches, so skittish subjects— bees on a petal, a quick lizard — stay comfortably away and unbothered. The frame shows a bit more scene for context while still nailing a good amount of detail, which makes it a favorite for product photos or wildlife that needs room to breathe.

A huge upside of the 75mm macro lens is that the front threads accept 67mm filters with the 67mm filter adapter, so you can pop on a CineBloom to mellow harsh sun or a variable ND to manage bright daylight.
