Setting Up the Drop-In Lens Mount
Step 1: Remove the Trim Ring
Every Moment case comes with a trim ring already installed. It’s a sleek, flush cover for your phone’s camera area when you’re not using lenses. To install the drop-in mount, you’ll need to pop that trim ring out.
Here’s how:
- Take the case off your phone and flip it backside-up on a clean surface.
- Gently press from the outside of the camera cutout inward. You’ll hear the trim ring pop out.
- Set it aside in a safe place. We recommend storing it in your case box so you don’t lose it.
Step 2: Install the Drop-In Mount
Now it’s time to drop in (literally) the lens mount.
- Double-check the size. Make sure the mount matches your phone model, it should be labeled clearly (e.g., “16 Pro” for iPhone 16 Pro).
- Line up the notches. There’s a small notch on the inside of your Moment case and a matching one on the mount. Align them.
- Press it in. The mount will feel snug, that’s on purpose. It’ll click into place with a little pressure. Don't worry, you’re not breaking anything.
