Description

The V-Mic D4 is a brand-new high-quality shotgun microphone from Deity. It builds on the knowledge gathered with the already great V-Mic D3. As with similar shotgun mics, the D4 allows users to capture directional audio and reject sounds coming from off-camera. The D4 utilizes our new offset shock mount that helps minimize handling noise. The side-mounted USB-C output jack is perfect for hybrid DSLR content creators who also want to connect their mic to a PC for podcasting/streaming. The V-Mic D4 also includes a new, upgraded foam pop filter with a reinforced rubber support backing plate. This gives the foam the strength it needs to support the included fur deadcat.

Offset Shockmount

If you shoot handheld you know that annoying situation when the switching of your hand position is heard in your footage. This mount will minimize handling noise so you can focus on getting the best shot.

Tactile Controls

There's no substitute for a great physical dial. On the back of the V-Mic D4 there's a big step-less Gain Knob which you can even operate with gloves on.

USB-C For Versatility

So you have an awesome mic, why not use it everywhere!? The V-Mic D4 connects via USB-C, so you can hook it up to your laptop for podcasting os voice-over, or even that Zoom meeting, but it also connects to your smartphone. No worries if you have a camera with just a 3.5mm jack. The package comes with a USB-C to 3.5mm cable as well.
